Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Elaborate on the challenges often experienced by working adults with ADHD, especially regarding stress and work-related mental illnesses.
- Describe circumstances outside of work that may aggravate the challenges of working with ADHD.
- Discuss the needs of working adults with ADHD, as well as their experiences of successful and unsuccessful interventions, accommodations, and collegial/managerial support.
- Describe the acquired strategies, personal strengths, and unique qualities that working adults with ADHD can apply to improve function and alleviate the burden at work.
