Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Compare high-risk infants and physiologically stable infants in terms of early identification and intervention.
- Describe the four domains of newborn functioning.
- Discuss maternal and infant factors that may influence the functioning of newborns.
- Elaborate on the activities and categories identified as a priority for inclusion in an early intervention mother-infant dyad-based group intervention programme.
- List the guiding principles identified as a priority for inclusion in an early intervention mother-infant dyad-based group intervention programme.
