Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:

- Explain basic scientific principles relevant to burn scar management.
- Evaluate the evidence supporting or refuting common conservative treatment interventions for scar management following burn injuries.
- Describe how mechanotransduction and neurogenic inflammation relate to common conservative treatment interventions for scar management following burn injuries.
