Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the role and impact of occupational therapy in supporting home-based physically frail older adults.
- Discuss the factors that can cause home-based physically frail older adults’ nonadherence to therapy and how these factors can be addressed.
- Discuss the facilitators of and barriers to occupational therapy intervention for home-based physically frail older adults.
- Describe the development, feasibility and content of the ProMOTE intervention to optimise the functional performance and social participation of home-based physically frail older adults.
