Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Name the component processes of attention.
- Discuss the attentional impairments commonly associated with traumatic brain injury.
- Discuss the processes followed to review the INCOG 2014 guidelines for the management of attention in individuals with traumatic brain injury.
- Discuss the recommendations and literature review provided by the INCOG 2022 panel regarding attentional impairments.
- Explain the INCOG 2022 decision algorithm for managing attentional problems.
- Implement the audit tool for examining the management of attentional problems in clinical settings.
