Objectives of this course
On completion of this CPD activity, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the importance of feasible developmental stimulation programmes for children from under-resourced communities.
- Describe the origin, aim, and principles of “Back to Urth” playgrounds and the accompanying sensory-motor programme.
- Compare the sensory-motor performance of learners who participated in the “Back to Urth” playground programme with that of the control group following the intervention.
- Compare the school performance of learners who participated in the “Back to Urth” playground programme with that of the control group following the intervention.
